Hi there! We’re Nicole and Angelina, the duo behind Balloon Town!

​

Balloon Town began with a simple belief: celebrations deserve memorable balloons. Founder Nicole Roy opened our store with a vision for polished, thoughtfully designed decor that feels elevated, intentional, and never rushed.

​

When opening, Nicole met Angelina originally as the building’s owner. What began as a straight forward landlord-tenant relationship quickly revealed a shared appreciation for creativity, entrepreneurship, and building something meaningful. Every time Angelina saw a Balloon Town post, she found herself daydreaming about balloon arches and event installs… until she finally worked up the courage to ask Nicole if she’d ever consider a partner.

Founded in 2025, Balloon Town was a jump-in moment. When Party City closed, the question everyone asked was, “Where do we get balloons now?” Nicole saw an opportunity - not to replace what existed, but to raise the standard. With a commitment to quality, professional-grade materials, and thoughtful design, Balloon Town was built with intention from day one.

Nicole brings creative intuition and momentum to every celebration, combining a strong design instinct with calm and confident execution. With years of experience running a successful local business, she’s known for moving ideas forward quickly, solving challenges with ease, and turning visions into beautifully styled, memorable moments. She’s especially drawn to milestone and anniversary celebrations

Angelina Bartolucci

Angelina comes from a marketing and creative background and is the resident theme-lover. She’s energized by color, detail, and the intention behind why someone is buying balloons in the first place. From perfectly coordinated details to over-the-top themed moments, she’s all about creating experiences that feel fun, personal, and unforgettable.

Together, we balance heart and execution — creativity and logistics — ensuring every Balloon Town experience feels joyful, polished, and genuinely cared for.

OKAY… THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING

​

There was one night early on that made it clear this wasn’t just a business - it was a passion.

​

Late one evening, after a full day of work, we got a call from a brand-new store in Norwich that needed a 70-foot balloon garland installed the very next morning. Nicole was still at the shop. Angelina was already home, in pajamas, fully convinced the day was over.

​That lasted about five minutes.

​Angelina grabbed her keys, drove back to the store, and the two of us spent the night inflating hundreds of balloons - surrounded by pumps, coffee cups, and half-finished garlands. By morning, the install was ready.

​

If this was what “long nights” looked like, we knew we were exactly where we were supposed to be.

HOW IT’S GOING

Today, Balloon Town is a boutique balloon studio serving Connecticut with a higher standard of balloon decor and customer service - from walk-in moments and custom bouquets to large-scale installations and professional event styling.

​

We believe balloons should feel effortless, cohesive, and beautifully done. Every design is created in-house with intention, refined color palettes, and professional-grade materials - because details matter, and quality shows. Whether someone stops in for one balloon to make someone’s day or plans an installation designed to stop people in their tracks, the goal is always the same: joy, done well.​

2026 is about helping to make events even better for our customers.

Make it easy and make it great for them.

We like the "ooohs" and the "ahhhs" and the "I love its" around here. So more of that!

We’re expanding Balloon Town beyond installs with a few experience-driven rental additions designed to elevate how guests engage, celebrate, and remember the moment. These offerings are refined, interactive, and deeply on-brand. We are creating a portfolio of offerings to complement our balloon designs and enhance the overall event experience.

More creativity. More connection. More ways to make moments unforgettable. We want to wow our customer even more.
