Event Setup & Breakdown Assistant

Balloon Town is a growing luxury balloon and event décor company looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Event Setup & Breakdown Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role assisting with event installations, deliveries, breakdowns, pickups, and organization of décor inventory.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creative event work, can move quickly in fast-paced environments, and takes pride in making events look polished and professional.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with balloon décor installations and event setups
• Breakdown and remove balloon décor, backdrops, rentals, and event materials after events
• Load, unload, organize, and transport equipment and inventory
• Assist with deliveries and pickups throughout Connecticut
• Help maintain organization and care of inventory, props, and supplies
• Follow setup instructions and company standards carefully
• Work efficiently during both setup and breakdown timelines
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on-site at events
Qualifications:
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing small ladders, and standing for extended periods
• Must have reliable transportation
• Weekend availability is required
• Ability to work late nights occasionally for event breakdowns
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Event, décor, moving, warehouse, or customer service experience is a plus — but not required
Position Details:

• Most shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends

Balloon Store Associate

Job Title:
Part-Time Balloon Store Associate - (including weekends)
Position Overview
We are a growing balloon and event decor business looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to support our retail store on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a part-time role, approximately 5 to 10 hours per week, ideal for someone who enjoys a creative, fast-paced environment and working with customers.
Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with in-store purchases, including balloon selections and simple orders

Inflate and prepare helium and air-filled balloons

Assemble basic balloon bouquets and grab-and-go garlands

Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and inventory levels

Support order pickups and ensure accuracy of completed orders

Provide a friendly, helpful customer experience
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction

Comfortable working with hands, including tying balloons and assembling displays

Friendly, dependable, and punctual

Ability to work independently in a small retail environment

Retail or customer service experience is a plus, not required
Schedule & Pay
